Inno3D has announced its new iChill Black Series Accelero Hybrid S Geforce GTX 980 and GTX 970 graphics card that will feature a hybrid, air and liquid, cooling solution as well as factory-overclocked settings.
According to Inno3D, the new iChill Black Series Accelero Hybrid S series GTX 980 and GTX 970 graphics cards will offer up to 200 percent cooling performance and end up nine times quieter compared to the reference cooled versions and are actually the first Geforce GTX 900 series graphics cards with liquid cooler that has integrated active fan which cools VRAM and VRM part of the graphics card.
Both the iChill Black Series Accelero Hybrid S GTX 980 and the GTX 970 will also feature factory-overclocked settings. Packing 2048 CUDA cores, the new Inno3D iChill Black Series Accelero Hybrid S GTX 980 ended up working at 1304MHz base GPU clock, 1418MHz GPU Boost clock while 4GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface ended up working at 7280MHz.
The iChill Black Series Accelero Hybrid S GTX 970 with 1664 CUDA cores also got overclocked to 1228MHz for the GPU base, 1328MHz for the GPU Boost clock while 4GB of GDDR5 memory on a 256-bit memory interface works at 7280MHz.
Unfortuantely, Inno3D did not reveal any details regarding availability or the price for the new iChill Black Series Accelero Hybrid S GTX 980 and GTX 970 graphics cards.
