Battlefield Hardline to run on different resolutions

900p for Playstation 4 and 720p for Xbox One

While those that had a chance to play it during its beta phases are eagerly awaiting its launch scheduled for March 17th, Visceral Games have tweeted that the game will run on different resolutions for current-gen consoles, the Xbox One and the Playstation 4.

According to a tweet from Visceral Games, Battlefield Hardline will be limited to 720p on the Xbox One while Playstation 4 will render it at 900p resolution. While this is not the first game that ran on lower resolution on the Xbox One, we certainly did not expect Battlefield Hardline to be one of those games.

Those running it on PC will be quite happy with the fact that they can even run it on UHD/4K resolution and beyond, at least if the hardware is powerful enough. Earlier released system requirements for Battlefield Hardline were quite modest and plenty of PC users with decent hardware setups should have no trouble running it at 1080p and Ultra preset settings.

As noted, Battlefield Hardline is scheduled to launch on March 17th on PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
