While there are plenty of overpriced and pointless things on the market already we certainly did not expect one from Sony, which launched its newest US $160 priced 64GB microSD card "for Premium Sound".
While even Sony is not sure if this thing will actually sell, it does think that there are some people that are "committed to great sound quality", or simply pay five times more money for a 64GB microSD card. According to Sony, the new 64GB for Premium Sound microSD card should produce less electrical noise and increase audio experience and thus appeal to audiophile market.
We certainly hope that someone will somehow compare this one to standard 64GB microSD card but in any case, it will surely look good with overpriced US $1,000 Sony Walkman ZX2.
