While Corsair's Dominator series is not a new addition to the lineup, Corsair has decided to update the lineup with new custom-designed DDR4 memory modules that will fit well with Gigabyte's GA-X99-SOC Force motherboard.
Rated to work at 3400MHz at 16-18-18-40 latencies, these modules are, according to Corsair, "guaranteed" to hit 3400MHz at ambient room temperature. Like all other Corsair Dominator Platinum memory modules, these also feature configurable and upgradeable top bar and light pipe, support for Corsair Link interface which allows IC temperature and voltage monitoring, custom optimized PCB, machined aluminum heatsinks and the rest of Corsair Dominator features.
The Watercooled PC group on Facebook managed to get their hands on a few new Corsair Dominator Platinum Orange Edition DDR4 modules and post a couple of rather neat pictures which shows it paired up with Gigabyte's GA-X99-SOC Force motherboard.
The new Limited Edition Orange Dominator Platinum series is available as a 16GB kit (4x4GB) and priced at rather steep US $999.99 at Corsair's own web site.
