ASUS has announced its latest addition to the Designo monitor lineup, a WQHD 27-inch Designo MX27AQ which features ASUS SonicMaster audio with ICEpower, Bang & Olufsen technology.

Based on a 27-inch WQHD 2560x1440 resolution AH-IPS panel, the new ASUS Designo MX27AQ features iF Award design with edge-to-edge frame-less panel, ultra-slim profile and sundial-inspired based. It also comes with ASUS SonicMaster audio, incorporating ICEpower, Bang & Olufsen technology, as well as the AudioWizard function.

The rest of the specifications include a smart contrast ratio of 10 million to 1, 300cd/m² maximum brightness, 5ms GTG response time and 178°horizontal and vertical viewing angles. It also comes with DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI MHL 2.0, two HDMI as well as PC audio, AV audio and earphone jack inputs and outputs as well as 3W integrated stereo speakers with ASUS SonicMaster Audio Technology and ICEpower, Bang & Olufsen technology.

The new ASUS Designo MX27AQ is expected on European shelves in March with a price of around €500 / CHF 540, depending on the region.
