Kingston Technology and its well known HyperX division have launched the new HyperX Cloud II gaming headset that features a new USB sound card audio control box with 7.1 virtual surround sound as well as the new HyperX Fury Pro gaming mouse pad, designed for optimal precision, comfort and stability.
As noted, the new HyperX Cloud II gaming headset will feature a newly designed USB sound card audio control box offering 7.1 virtual surround sound as well as pack all the features that were a key part of the award-winning HyperX Cloud gaming headset. The new USB sound card audio control box is hardware-based, which means it does not need any drivers, and delivers 7.1 virtual surround sound with independent audio and microphone volume control. With button that can easily toggle 7.1 virtual surround sound, the HyperX Cloud II can emulate seven positional speakers.
Specification wise, the HyperX Cloud II is based on dynamic 53mm transducers with frequency response of 15Hz to 25,000Hz, nominal SPL and impedance of 98±3 dB and 60 Ohm per system, circumaural headset design, cable length of 1m + 2m extension with standard single mini-stereo 3.5mm jack and weight of 320g. The microphone on the new HyperX Cloud II gaming headset is a condenser type with frequency response of 50 to 18,000Hz, with nominal impedance of ?2,200 Ohm and output of -39±3dB.
In addition to the HyperX Cloud II gaming headset, Kingston has also launched the new HyperX Fury Pro gaming mouse pad that is made of cloth material and soft padding and will offer optimal precision, comfort and stability. To be available in four sizes, the HyperX Fury will be portable and durable to suit any environment, according to Kingston.
The HyperX Cloud II gaming headset will be available in red, gun metal and limited edition pink version and backed by a two-year warranty. Unfortunately, Kingston did not reveal any details regarding the price or the precise availability dates for HyperX Cloud II gaming headset or the HyperX Fury gaming mouse pad.
