As there have been plenty of talk regarding the Nvidia GTX 970 memory allocation issue during past few days, Nvidia has now announced that it is working on a driver update that should fix some issues.
According to a post over
at Geforce Forums, an Nvidia employee, who goes by the name Peter, wrote that the company is currently working on a driver update, which will tune what's allocated where in memory to further improve performance.
While the post does not mention any details regarding a possible date for this driver update, he did note that Nvidia indeed messed up when it comes to properly explaining the GTX 970 memory architecture.
He also added that he thinks that the GTX 970 is still the best graphics card at that price and those that are not satisfied with the situation, should return the GTX 970 for a refund or pick another graphics card.
Nvidia did indeed make quite a mess but it appears that we might at least see some improvements with the new driver update, and we do still think that the GTX 970 definitely offers great performance for its value.
