EVGA is not a new player in the gaming peripheral market as the company already had the TORQ X10 Carbon and TORQ X10 gaming. Today, EVGA decided to expand its range with two new models equipped with an optical sensor, the TORQ X3 and TORQ X5 and one with a laser sensor, the TORQ X5L.
The TORQ X10 mouse from EVGA have managed to make a name for itself and this has motivated the company to expand its lineup with a few more models. This is why they have unveiled three new models named TORQ X3, TORQ X5 and TORQ X5L.
The TORQ X3 is the smallest in the series and features ambidextrous design as well as slightly entry-level finish. This does not prevent it from having eight buttons programmable via software, a red backlight and 512KB memory to save up to five profiles. Inside, the TORQ X3 features an optical 4000 DPI Pixart 3090 sensor. It weights 83g and has a price of US $39.99.
The TORQ X5 is also ambidextrous, but with a bit more sophisticated finish. It also has eight buttons programmable via software, a memory of 512 KB to save up to five profiles, but comes with an RGB LED backlight. It still comes with an optical sensor and it is a 6200DPI Pixart 3988. It weights 85g and will be sold for US $49.99.
The TORQ X5L is identical to the TORQ X5, except that it is equipped with an Avago 9800 laser sensor with 8200 DPI. It is also a bit heavier at 92g. Due to much better laser sensor, the TORQ X5L is also a bit pricier and will be sold for US $59.99-
According to EVGA, all three new EVGA TORQ gaming mice should be already available.
