Apple's CEO Tim Cook earned US $9.3 million last year

Quite a nice pay check

Apple's CEO Tim Cook earned a cool US $9.3 million last year, with his salary reaching US $1.7 million.

According to a SEC filing, Apple's CEO Tim Cook made US $9.22 million last year, including salary of US $1.7 million and non-equity incentive compensation of $6.7 million, which is definitely a nice figure considering that same compensation was around US $4.3 million in 2013.

The rest of high-ranking Apple staff also did quite well, and even better than Tim Cook, where Angela Ahrendts, Senior Vice President for Retail and Online Stores, scored a neat US $73 million in cash and stock. Jeff Williams, Senior Vice Presidents, Operations, also got a decent boost in pay-check by getting US $20 million in stock and around US $3.4 million in compensations, which got him cool US $24.4 million, or US $22 million more than in 2013.

These numbers do not come as a surprise considering that Apple generated US $182.8 billion in sales during 2014, with US $38.5 billion in net income during fiscal 2014, which was yet another record.
