Mushkin brought some rather interesting products to CES 2015 show in Las Vegas, including its newest Striker series of solid state drives based on recently popular Phison controller.
To be available in 240 to 960GB capacities, with yet to be detailed pricing, the new Mushkin Striker line of SSDs will be based on Phison PS3110-S10 controller with quad-core SoC paired up with MLC NAND and packed in a 2.5-inch 7mm thick form-factor with SATA 6Gbps interface.
The new Mushkin Striker SSD lineup will offer sequential read and write performance of up to 565MB/s and 550MB/s and features 256-bit AES encryption and user-upgradeable firmware.
While we still do not have any details regarding the price or random 4K performance of the new Mushkin Striker SSD lineup, the company noted that it should be available sometime in Q1 2015, so we will have to wait for additional details until the official launch.
