Patriot launches new Ignite SSD lineup at CES 2015

Patriot has unveiled its latest line of solid-state drives, the Ignite SSD lineup. Based on Phison S10 controller and reaching transfer speeds of up to 560MB/s for read and up to 545MB/s for write, the new Ignite will be available in 480 and 960GB capacities.


As noted, Patriot's new Ignite SSD lineup will feature the largest capacity SSD yet produced by company as it will be available in 480 and 960GB capacities. Based on the new Phison S10 controller paired up with MLC NAND, the new Patriot Ignite SSD lineup will provide sequential transfer speeds of up to 560MB/s for read and 545MB/s for write.

The Patriot Ignite is based on a standard 2.5-inch form factor and feature SATA III 6.0Gbps interface.

According to Patriot, the Ignite SSD lineup should be available sometime during this month with an MSRP of US $214.99 for the 480GB version and US $404.49 for the 960GB version.
