COD: Advanced Warfare best selling game in the US

Activision did good this year

Activision has been definitely doing good in 2014 and according to their latest press release, Call of Duty franchise has a lot to do with that, by being one the best selling games in the US during this year.

Named the top-selling console game of the year in the USA, Activision's Call of Duty, whether you like it or not, is definitely on of the most famous franchises in the game industry, and it appears that its latest Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare did much better than earlier reports suggested.

According to NPD's report, COD: Advanced Warfare is number one top selling console title, followed closely by yet another Activision's title, Destiny. Activision also can brag with number one kids video game, Skylanders, while the number one title in November was Destiny.

Recent reports suggested that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare sales were down by 27 percent compared to the Call of Duty: Ghosts, but it appears that this one has been doing much better than expected.

Hopefully, Activision will bring even more interesting titles in the next year and Call of Duty franchise is definitely here to stay.
