Corsair's upcoming HX1200i PSU pictured

One to power them all

Today we have a picture of yet another 1200W PSU from Corsair, the HX1200i, which will be positioned above the previously available HX1050W but still below the AX1200i.

According to the report coming from Expreview.com, the HX1200i will have an 80Plus Platinum efficiency rating, fully modular design and will be cooled by a load controlled fan, which will remain off until the PSU hits a certain load.

As expected, the Corsair HX1200i should pack enough Amps to power a high-end gaming system with three or more graphics cards while the "i" in the name of the PSU suggest that it will support Corsair's Corsair Link technology. This means it can connect to the system via USB and allow load, efficiency and fan speed monitoring.

Unfortunately, the post over at Expreview does not give any details regarding the price or the actual availability date but hopefully we will see it officially launched soon.
