Fractal Design announces new Kelvin liquid CPU coolers

An open loop DIY system

Fractal Design is a company that is new to the liquid cooling market but with the introduction of its Kelvin series liquid CPU cooling systems earlier this year, it certainly shows that it means business. Today, Fractal Design has introduced the new, precise, powerful and quality Kelvin T12, S24 and S36 liquid CPU cooler, which are an open loop DIY systems that bring some rather interesting features and options.

The entire Fractal Design Kelvin liquid CPU cooler series, including the T12, S24 and the S36 come with 120, 240 and 360mm designs, but also bring a rather neat novelty, an expandable design. Since the radiators and pumps are based on the industry standard G1/4" threads, this allows user to open the loop and add radiators, GPU water blocks, CPU blocks and VRM blocks, adding a DIY feature to the Kelvin series.

The radiators on the Kelvin series are made of copper while the cold plate is also made of pure copper, which should allow much better heat transfer and dissipation when compared to aluminum. The pumps on each of the Kelvin series feature ceramic bearing and spin up to 2400RPM with 25dBA of noise. The fans are Fractal Design's own Silent Series HP 120mm PWM fans spinning between 800 and 1700RPM, providing up to 62.4CFM of airflow and producing up to 26.9dBA of noise.

The DIY feature, as well as the full copper design, of the new Fractal Design Kelvin liquid CPU cooler lineup is usually reserved for high-end market but the Kelvin T12, S24 and S36 are priced at rather competitive US $99.99, US $119.99 and US $139.99, respectively.

According to Fractal Design, these should be available on shelves pretty soon and you can check out more details via link below.
