Various rumors suggested that the Windows 10 OS kernel was going to change and the recent spotted post at Internet Explorer development web site confirms those same rumors.

Recently, several rumors have suggested that the next release of the Windows 10 Technical Preview would also include a new version of the OS kernel.

Now it only remains to be seen if there is a real change in the kernel or if it is just an action to change the version number in order to pair it up with the new Windows 10 OS.
