Spire continues to expand its Powercube range of products and after the mini-ITX form-factor 501 and the 502, Spire has decided to launch a member in the µATX form-factor segment, the Powercube 710.
The Powercube 710 is larger than his mini-ITX brothers, but still remains in reasonable proportions for those who want to build an HTPC system.
Its dimensions are 285 x 210 x 270mm and it weighs 2kg. The Spire Powercube 710 case will accept mini-ITX or micro-ATX form-factor motherboards and these will be placed upside down on the left side of the case. The ventilation is quite limited as the case has a single 80mm fan and vents on the sides and the top of the case. Storage wise, the Powercube 710 comes with enough room for only two 3.5/2.5-inch HDDs or SSDs. It also supports standard ATX form-factor PSUs but will not support big tower CPU coolers.
The design of the Powercube 710 is simple and uses plastic. The I/O panel comes with USB 3.0 ports and HD Audio connectors. The Power and Reset buttons are on the right edge of the case.
The Powercube 710 is already available for 44.95€ with a 2 year warranty.
