Just Cause 3 to launch without multiplayer

Multiplayer to come later

Avalanche Studios have announced a rather disappointing piece of news saying that Just Cause 3 will launch without any multiplayer features.

According to co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Avalanche Studios, Christofer Sundberg, :"Maybe sometime down the line, we'll take Rico into the modern world of multiplaying". This means that the game will eventually get multiplayer, just not when it launches next year. The biggest success of Just Cause 2 was its multiplayer, but since it was made as an unofficial mod by fans, there is a big possibility that the same thing will happen with Just Cause 3.

Sundberg also added that :"We don't expect the fans to make the multiplayer for Just Cause 3, but at some point you have to make a choice on where your focus is. Our strength is the sandbox experience, and we want to deliver a great Just Cause 3 experience".

In any case, Just Cause 3 is definitely one of the most expected games for the next year and hopefully, multiplayer features will be eventually added to the game, just as Avalanche Studios suggested.
