ASUS has unveiled its latest TUF Sabertooth series motherboard, an Intel Z97 Express chipset based limited-edition ASUS TUF Sabertooth Z97 Mark S.


Featuring white arctic-camouflage design and all the TUF features, including TUF camouflage-white Thermal Armor with Flow Valve to optimize airflow, Thermal Radar 2 for intuitive fan tuning, a TUF ICe microchip to intelligently monitor and control system temperatures and fan speeds, reinforced camouflage-white TUF Fortifier backplate, high-durability TUF Components and TUF Dust Defenders to prevent airborne particles entering via external ports, the new ASUS Sabertooth Z97 Mark S is certainly one impressive motherboard.




Based on Intel's well known Z97 Express chipset with support for Intel' 4th and 5th-generation LGA1150 CPUs, the TUF Sabertooth Z97 Mark S comes with four DIMM memory slots with support for up to 32GB of DDR3-1866 memory, has two PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots (x16 or x8/x8), single PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slot (in x4 mode) and three PCI-Express 2.0 x1 slots. Storage wise, the new ASUS TUF Sabertooth Z97 Mark S comes with singe SATA Express 10Gbit/s port and six SATA 6Gbps ports. It also features dual Gigabit LAN, eight USB 3.0 and eight USB 2.0 ports, as well as 8+2-phase Digi+ digital power design.




While not being the latest motherboard when it comes to chipset, the new TUF Sabertooth Z97 Mark S is still an enthusiast-class motherboard with server-grade reliability, plenty of features and impressive design.

Unfortunately, ASUS did not reveal any details regarding th price or the availability date for the new TUF Sabertooth Mark S limited-edition motherboard.
