Be quiet! launches the Pure Rock CPU cooler

One for entry level market

Earlier this year, the German firm Be quiet! already announced that they intend to unveil a new CPU cooler aimed at entry-level market, and today, they have announced the new Pure Rock CPU cooler.

With the Pure Rock, Be quiet! moves to the entry-level market and is ready to provide some competition for other manufacturers in the 30€ range.

The Pure Rock has 87.5 x 121 x 155mm dimensions and weighs 660g. It can dissipate up to 130W and has support for AMD socket 754, 939, 940, AM2(+), AM3(+), FM1(+), FM2(+) as well as Intel's socket LGA 775, 1150, 1155, 1156, 1366, and 2011(-3) CPUs.

The design of the Pure Rock is pretty much standard as we are looking at a tower CPU cooler which features four 6mm U-shaped heatpipes and BeQuiet!'s own 120mm PWM fan, which spins at 1500 rpm and able to provide 87CFM of airflow at 12V, while producing 26,8dB of noise.

The new BeQuiet! Pure Rock is is already available with a suggested retail price of €32.90 and is backed by a 3-year warranty.
