Fractal Design has unveiled its newest modular power supply unit lineup, the Edison M, which will feature 80PLUS Gold efficiency, semi-modular design and be available in a variety of wattage levels.
As noted, the new Fractal Design Edison M PSU lineup will be available in 450, 550, 650 and 750W wattage levels and feature a semi-modular design with extra-long fixed ATX12V cable on all models while 650W and 750W also include a single PCI-Express 6+2-pin connector. It has an 80PLUS Gold efficiency rating, ATX 24 compliance with full support for C6/C7 power states, all the usual power, voltage, current and temperature protections, DC-DC design and uses Japanese electrolytic capacitors and Japanese and Taiwanese solid polymer capacitors.
All four models of the new Fractal Design Edison M lineup are cooled by a bottom placed 120mm silent and temperature-controlled DFB-bearing fan. The entire lineup will only be available in black color, sleeved cables and white fan.
According to Fractal Design, the new Edison M PSU lineup should be available immediately with a price set at US $84.99 for the 450W, US $94.99 for the 550W, US $104.99 for the 650W and US $119.99 for the 750W model.
