We are just a couple of days from the official launch of Intel's newest Haswell-E HEDT platform and we are now seeing some of the first DDR4 memory modules appear in retail/e-tail, including ADATA Premier line which have been spotted in single-module packs of 4 and 8GB.
Rated at DDR4-2133MHz (PC4-1700) and with 15T latencies at 1.2V, the ADATA Premier lineup will use SK Hynix DRAM chips. As noted, these will most likely be available as memory kits with paired up modules but for now, they
have been spotted at single 4GB and single 8GB modules.
The price, when converted, ends up at around US $75 for the 4GB module and US $150 for the 8GB modules. The DDR4 modules and kits have slowly started to appear on the market and hopefully there will be no shortage of these once Intel's Haswell-E HEDT platform officially launches.
