By the end of September Acer will be launching their new Predator XB280K UHD display, which will also support NVIDIAs G-Sync technology. One of the best things about this display is simply that it's not going to break your bank account.
Since the XB280HK is a UHD display it features 3'840 x 2'160 pixel resolution. Unlike quite a few other UHD displays this is a 60Hz monitor and the fact, that Acer is combining this with NVIDIAs G-Sync technology makes it unique. Apart from that you get a 28 inch TN panel, which allows for 3000 cd/m² brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio. A closer look at the connectors reveals a DisplayPort 1.2 port as well as an integrated USB 3.0 hub.
When it comes to availability the new Acer XB280HK is scheduled to go on sale by the 11th of September. Acer is mentioning a MSRP of 600 Euro. This is actually a highly competitive price and might put quite some pressure on other display makers.
