Mad Catz is one of the most famous peripherals manufacturer on the market, and they decided that Gamescom 2014 was the best place to unveil 3 new version of products we've already seen: the S.T.R.I.K.E TE keyboard, and the M.M.O. TE and R.A.T. TE mice.
Mad Catz peripherals always feature an incredible design, that is actually one of the most liked feature of their products. These new Tournament Edition (TE) products are available in 4 different colors, just like any other Mad Catz product: matte black, red, white and black.
Let's start from the S.T.R.I.K.E TE keyboard, which features 12 programmable keys on the top side, over the Function keys. It should feature Cherry MX Brown switches, 30-Keys Rollover and a fully customizable back-light. It's available for 192.48€, while the matte black version has a 15% discount at the moment.
Let's talk about mice: Mad Catz unveiled the M.M.O. TE and the R.A.T. TE. The design is basically the same for both products, and they both feature the same 8200DPI sensor. The M.M.O model is actually design for online role play titles, and it features 20 programmable key, while the R.A.T., which is design for FPS titles, “only” has 9 of them. The customizable design is what made the R.A.T so famous, and they both feature it, along with great specification that should be featured on any mouse of this price range. They are available in the same 4 colors for 102.84 €. While the R.A.T. TE is already available, the M.M.O TE is up for pre-order, with the same 15% discount for the matte black version.
