EK Water Blocks announced another full-cover waterblock for AMD Radeon R9 290X graphics cards. This time the block is compatible with non-reference graphics cards from TUL Corporation (Power Color and VTX3D). To be even more precise, the new waterblock is compatible with R29FA circuit board designs.


As usual a full-cover block directly cools not only the GPU but also the memory chips and the VRM area of the graphics card. A closer look at the design reveals, there is a base made from nickel-plated electrolytic copper and the top cover is cast from POM Acetal. Overall you get the typical EK looks which are always very nice.
