Thermaltake unveils new PSUs

The new Toughpower DPS G

Thermaltake is definitely getting good on making PSU. The Toughpower Series, which featured just two modular models with DPS monitoring software, is getting bigger, thanks to 6 new cheaper models that should come pretty soon, called DPS G.

Just like the DPS lineup, the new DPS G are fully modular power supply units, and they are bundled with the “DPS App” software, that allows the user to monitor the PSU performances in real time.

These 6 new models feature the same design, the same 140mm ventilation fan, the same single 12V rail and the same 150x86x180mm dimensions. They are all 80Plus Gold certified, and unlike the DPS models, which were only available in 750W and 850W version, the new DPS G will be available in 450W, 550W, 650W, 750W, 850W and 1050W, so that every user find its own solution.

Prices and release dates are still unknown, but Thermaltake noted that the new DPS G will be cheaper that then DPS. Anyway, since these are not entry level PSU, we expect a consequent price.
