Club 3D introduces Y-cabled Docking Station

Multipurpose docking station

After launching quite a few interesting Multi Stream Transport (MST) Hubs to the market, Club 3D has now announced the world's first Y-Cabled Docking Station which allows you to connect up to three monitors to a notebook or any other system as well as bunch of USB peripherals.

While the Club 3D MST Hubs are quite useful and have been quite popular since they were launched in 2013, these did not have an option to connect peripherals, something that Y-Cabled Docking Station can do. Using mini DisplayPort and USB 3.0 connector, the Y-Cabled Docking Station features two Mini Displayport 1.2 outputs, and allows you to connect up to three displays and with three USB 3.0 output ports, up to four USB peripheral devices. It also features a Gigabit Ethernet port.

The two mini DisplayPort outputs allows you to connect two monitors with resolution of up to 2560x1600@60Hz or single 4K/UHD 3840x2160@60Hz monitor. The connected monitors can be configured to work in either mirror or extended modes and multiple Y-Cabled Docking stations can be combined with two Club3D MST Hubs in order to give you support for up to eight lower resolution displays.

The new Club 3D Y-Cabled Docking Station will be available during this month but unfortunately, Club 3D did not give any precise information regarding the price.
