According to the latest report, Apple might unveil its newest iPhone 6 as early as September 9th. While the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 version should be launch at that date the rumored larger 5.5-inch version should come at a later date.

According to latest report coming from Recode.net, Apple is preparing a big even for Tuesday, September 9th. This comes as a surprise considering that previous reports suggested that we will see a new iPhone in mid-September.

While there have been many rumors regarding the actual specifications, most sources agree that we will probably see two versions, with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens, both running on the new Apple A8 SoC. There have been couple of rumors regarding a sapphire display as well but hopefully we will hear more as we draw closer to the rumored Apple iPhone event.

As expected, Apple has declined to comment on the new report.
