Darksiders on GNU/Linux?

For free software lovers

While the Steam OS portfolio keeps growing, Runic Games, the firm which acquired the Darksiders franchise after THQ shut down, decided to bring the beloved franchise on GNU/Linux too.

Among many other victories scored by Valve, other than creating a worl-wide gaming platform like steam, they managed to get a few studios interested in GNU/Linux world. This is a great news for those who love the free software out there.

On their official Facebook page, the Runic Games studio showed a screenshot of Darksiders running in window mode, with a “Darksiders Linux” title on it. You don’t need to be a psychic to realize that they are working on a GNU/Linux version of the game, which will most likely be available through Steam.

Developed by Vigil Games and published by THQ, the Darksiders franchise has been loved by the gaming community. After being bought by Runic Games, the title kept going really well, and it will definitely make some GNU/Linux lover happy.
