Possible Android TV gaming controller pictured

Looks good for now

Google has just announced its Android TV during Google I/O last week and today we have a first picture of what appears to be the Google Android TV game controller.

In case you missed it last week, the Android TV is Google's way of pushing Android to smart TVs and making developing those apps a bit more easier and straightforward. During Google I/O, the company was quite keen to show that Android TV will be quite good for Android gaming, which would allow users to mirror games from other Android devices to TV screen.

While it all sounds quite nice, newest render picture of what appears to be the Android TV gaming controller, which were discovered in the Android L Developer Preview, suggest that Google might have bigger plans for Android TV gaming.

The first renderer shows a rather sleek, well-designed and quite simple looking game controller which takes a lot of pages from controllers which are already available on the market. This is a good thing in our book as when something simply works you do not need to change it.

As announced during Google I/O, there will be many manufacturers which will be rolling out set-top boxes based on Android TV platform and Razer, with its micro-console, might be the perfect candidate for a controller which we now have a chance to see.
