Kingston HyperX and HWBOT announces new competitions

DotA 2 and overclocking competitions

Kingston HyperX has announced two new competitions that will show its support and commitment to the eSports as well as the enthusiast community, the HyperX DotA 2 League and the HyperX overclocking competition in cooperation with HWBOT.


The HyperX DotA 2 League will feature 16 of the world's top professional DotA 2 gaming teams that will battle it out for a large cache prize of US $50,000 and an additional US $40,000 for flight and hotel for the top four teams that will clash against each other in Las Vegas for the finals.

In addition to DotA 2 League, Kingston HyperX will host, in cooperation with HWBOT, the first stop and informational website for overclockers and performance enthusiasts, the highest benchmarks for Maximum Memory Frequency, Super PI and Intel XTU. The overclocking competition will kick off on October 7 and will be an open online qualifying competition lasting four weeks. Winners will be determined weekly with the five final contestants competing in January 2014 during CES. For the finals, components will be supplied by Kingston and its partners: ASUS, Cooler Master and Intel.
