Samsung curved OLED KE55S9C hits Europe

Samsung's own KE55S9C 55-inch curved OLED will now be available in most European countries with a price of €7,999 (US $10,697) while in Switzerland it will be on sale by end of September with a CHF 9'999 price tag. The launch is Samsung's European push into premium TV market and comes just a few days ahead of big IFA 2013 show that kicks off on 6th of September in Berlin, Germany.

Samsung's curve OLED KE55S9C offers a new and unique viewing experience and provides flawless image quality thanks to the RGB organic emitting diodes (OLED) that lights itself and offers perfect blacks and outstanding contrast. It comes with a concave screen curvature modeled on the human oval visual field that maximizes the viewing radius. Due to its active 3D capabilities and Samsung's MultiView technology it actually can send two separate full HD images to two different viewers simultaneously with corresponding audio, while 3D glasses have integrated speakers that allow users to switch between two sources.

The new Samsung 55-inch OLED KE55S9C TV will be available in Germany as of today while the UK, Italy and France will get it on 5th of September. The Netherlands and Austria as well as rest of the European countries will get it by the end of September and general price in Europe will be set at €7999. Switzerland will also get it by the end of September with a price of CHF 9'999.
