Kotaku.com had a chance to sit down with CD Projekt Red and squeeze out a bunch of details regarding the upcoming Witcher 3 RPG game announced earlier this year.
As it was announced earlier, The Witcher 3 will be available for PC and next-gen consoles, meaning that we might see some impressive graphics and it would be quite easier for CD Projekt Red to port it to upcoming Playstation 4 and Next Xbox considering that those will actually be PC-like systems. Although all screenshots show a clouded sky, CD Project Red noted that sun will indeed shine, at least from time to time.
According to details, it appears that this will actually be Geralt's final adventure and quite easy for new players to enjoy. It will feature more than 100 hours of gameplay, be a fully open-world game and 35 times bigger than The Witcher 2 game. CD Projekt Red is also bringing some changes to actual gameplay when compared to previous ones as this time around parry will be active, dodge will be different, they will introduce combat skills, alchemy and potions will be better and this time around a total of 10 Witcher Signs as opposed to five.
CD Projekt Red is also moving away from always-online DRM as it simply is not doing any good and CD Project Red believes that invasive DRM is not the answer for getting rid of piracy.
