Following the recently released Sapphire HD 7950 Mac Edition, EVGA has now announced the new GTX 680 Mac Edition.
Based on what appears to be a reference design with Mac Edition label, the new EVGA GTX 680 Mac Edition features 1536 CUDA cores and works at 1006MHz base and 1058MHz Boost GPU clock. It comes with 2GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 6008MHz with a 256-bit memory interface. EVGA decided to go for a reference dual-slot blower style cooler.
In addition to all features expected from a Kepler based GK104 graphics card, the new EVGA GTX 680 Mac Edition also features support for four concurrent displays via two dual-link DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort 1.1 outputs as well as the full support for Microsoft Windows OS in Apple Boot Camp.
Currently, the EVGA GTX 680 Mac Edition is only listed in the US EVGA store at US $599.99 but we were told that it should show up in Europe pretty soon.
