Manca poco meno di una settimana al lancio ufficiale della prima scheda video realizzata con GPU Polaris, la Radeon RX 480, per cui non ci sorprende l'aumentare delle immagini della scheda disponibili sul web.


A Sapphire-branded reference design Radeon RX 480 was taken fully apart by Chinese site PCOnline.com.cn, showing all the key components, including a 6-phase VRM which draws power from a single 6-pin PCIe power connector and a detailed picture of the 14nm Ellesmere XT GPU.

The GPU itself is cooled by a large heatsink while the memory and the VRM part is cooled by a metal baseplate. As seen earlier, the reference design will use a blower-style cooler.

The Radeon RX 480 should launch on June 29th with an MSRP of US $199 for the 4GB and US $229 for the 8GB version.
