Another Metro sequel?

Oh, yes!

Good news for all the Metro's fans. Deep Silver announced that it wants to develop another sequel of Metro. Apparently it looks like the cooperation with Dmitry Glukhovsky is quite a formidable one.

In january, Deep Silver bought all the right at Metro for $5.9 millions the brand. After its release in may, Metro Last Light, even though it didn't make it into the European charts, more copies have been sold than ever before.

CEO of Deep Silver CEO Dr. Klemens Kundratitz said during an interview with Joystiq:

I'm very glad we acquired that brand. While it launched in a very dry space in the gaming calendar this year, it still got a lot of attention. Our ambition is to absolutely continue with that brand.


According to Kundratitz, the cooperation with novelist Dmitry Glukhovsky makes the brand even more fascinating. In fact he played an important role during the development process of the last two chapters.
