According to a recent leak it appears that Sony is already testing a new model of the Sony Xperia Z that will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset.
According to Eldar Murtazin which leaks and predictions on Twitter have been quite precise recently noted that the Xperia Z powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset already exists and that it is currently actively tested by the company. Unfortunately, Murtazin failed to reveal any other information other than it could sport a display similar to the HTC One's Super LCD 3 which is quite important considering that the original Xperia Z was not winning any medals for the screen, at least not when compared to the rest of the high-end competition. Unfortunately, he also noted that he does not believe that Super LCD 3 screen will be in the final version of the device.
Recent leaked Xperia Z Ultra smartphone is all but confirmed by the company and it also sports the same Snapdragon 800 chipset. Sony will be holding an event tomorrow and we are quite sure we will hear more about these new smartphones.
