Microsoft scores 100 milion Windows 8 sales

Blue update hinted, details coming soon

It has been over six months since Microsoft launched its Windows 8 and it appears that it is not doing that bad after all. Microsoft announced that Windows 8 reached a new and significant milestone, a 100 million sales.
The situation with Windows 8 is not that bad but is not that good either since Windows 7 has been selling at a similar rate and Microsoft certainly noted that there is more room for improvement. Tami Reller, co-head of Microsoft Windows division told Reuters that Windows 8 is not perfect and there are things that need changing. Reller also hinted and practically confirmed the Blue update that should be coming soon.

The company actually expects it to be ready by the end of this year and should be sharing additional details during next few weeks. Reller also stirred up the recent rumors regarding 7- and 8-inch Windows 8 and Windows RT rumors as well.
