Samsung working on 11-inch Nexus tablet

High-end tablet with Exynos 5 Octa

According to a report from SamMobile, Samsung might be working on a new Nexus high-end tablet equipped with its Exynos 5 Octa chipset.
According to first information, Samsung might use 11-inch Super PLS TFT display, 8-megapixe rear and 2-megapixel front camera, its own Exynos 5 Octa (Exynos 5410) hybrid quad-A7+quad-A15 octa-core chipset and even include a microSD card slot. The report also noted that Google still has to approve it in order to bear the Nexus brand.

Unfortunately, it is also not clear which OS will it run on but the best guess is the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie schedule to launch at Google I/O in mid-May.

Due to its weak sales of Galaxy Note 10.1 and other tablets in that range, Samsung might be looking to score big on a rather neglected 11-inch tablet market.

In addition to the Nexus 11, as Sammobile now calls it, Samsung also plans to come up with Tab DUOS 7.0, a dual SIM tab, Galaxz Tab 8.0 with 8-inch AMOLED and the Galaxy Tab 11 that could be a cheaper version of the Nexus 11 with dual-core A15 Exynos 5250 chipset.
