Desktop Geforce 7 could come earlier than expected

By Computex 2013 in June

According to the recent rumor, desktop versions of Geforce 700 GPUs might launch even before anyone really expected, at Computex 2013 scheduled to open its doors to visitors on June 4th.

Although many sites reported that we might not see any new high-end Nvidia graphics cards before CES in January 2014, Fudzilla now reports that the desktop Geforce 7-series GPUs might launch as early as late May, just before Computex 2013. Nvidia is feeling pressure from AMD's aggressive bundle deals and although we might not see a new high-end GPU, partners are saying that Nvidia is currently planing something.

The desktop GPU part still plays a vital role in Nvidia's financial report. It is unlikely that we will see some impressive performance leaps at least not until Nvidia makes a switch to 20nm manufacturing process. Since Nvidia did not score any console deals, we are quite sure that PC gaming is the future will become a favorite theme for Nvidia.
