During the last week there has been a lot going on in the overclock scene. The Chinese overclocker Kovan Yang has achieved a new world record using a ADATA XPG Spectrix D80 RGB DDR4 memory kit. The benchmark has been conducted on a MSI X299 Gaming Pro Carbon AC in combination with one of the Intel's upcoming X-series CPUs.


Right before the official start of the Computex 2018, some overclockers are already submitting few scores. Kovan Yang has managed to squeeze 5.5GHz out of ADATA memory using liquid nitrogen for cooling. The result has been confirmed by HWBot, and reaffirms ADATA's strong R&D capabilities. The record has been achieved through the joint effort of ADATA and MSI.

With Spectrix D80 RGB, ADATA introduces world's first RGB DDR4 memory with a hybrid liquid-air cooling system. The memory chips placed on the PCB are covered with an aluminum heatsink that is compatible with your watercooling system. On following you can find more details.
