NVIDIA teases with Ultimate Gaming Experience

At GTC Taiwan

NVIDIA has posted a short teaser about the "Ultimate Gaming Experience". This might mean something, since we are all waiting a new series of graphics cards or it may mean something much less exciting like 4K HDR displays. As we mentioned in a news of yesterday, this monitors will be rather expensive and above $2000 USD.

Right before the upcoming Computex 2018, where Jen-Hsun "Jensen" Huang will take the stage again, it still isn't clear what the main topic of the presentation will be. According to some Taiwanese websites, NVIDIA should talk about "Computex: Redefining Gaming Experience" with GeForce 10-series powered laptop and G-SYNC 4K HDR displays. Furthermore they might talk about artificial technology.

On another note, our friend Hilbert from Guru3D has spotted a potential GeForce GTX 1180 graphics card. The card has appeared on Techpowerup database with a long list of specifications. These specifications are based on expected numbers drawn from the original Volta GPU. Since there isn't any confirmation about this card, we believe that this might be just a clickbait content.

According to the specifications, the upcoming GeForce GTX 1180 should be based on TSMC 12nm FinFET process with 3584 CUDA cores, 224 TMUs and 64 ROPs. Furthermore the card should hit 200W TDP with a max boost block of 1582 MHz. As we said before, this specifications looks too good for be true and this information definitely has to be taken with a grain of salt.
