Acer 4K/144Hz monitor will be available this month

According to some rumors

During the last CES, ASUS and Acer made a big splash by showing off the first 4K/144Hz gaming monitors with plans to launch them during the 2017. Unfortunately both displays have been delayed several times. According to latest rumors, the Predator X27 should be available during next month.

As we already mentioned the Predator X27 monitor is going to be equipped with a 27-inch panel and 3840 x 2160 Pixel resolution. There will be one HDMI 2.0 connector and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports. The display is based on an IPS panel with 100.000.000:1 contrast ratio and 1000 cd/m2 brightness. Acer is marketing this display as a gaming monitor and it supports G-Sync. The refresh rate is set to up to 144Hz and the grey-to-grey response time is set to 4ms.

On top of the specs there is a very well-built thin frame, which allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. Furthermore it is compatible with VESA mounts making this display ideal for multi-monitor configurations if required.

So far Acer has not revealed any details on pricing but we're sure it won't take very long until those monitors are going to be listed on the usual price comparison portals. Due to the long list of features, we believe that this display will costs around $2000 USD.
