First look at MSI B360I Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard

Solid design

Thanks to yet another leak on Videocardz, there are more details on upcoming MSI B360 motherboards. This time we will have a look to the B360I Gaming Pro Carbon AC which looks a bit different to the Z370I Gaming Pro Carbon AC. According to latest rumors, Intel is planning to release their new Coffee Lake chipsets during the next few weeks.

Apparently this board comes with an armada of features on a very small form factor. Compared to the Z370I Gaming Pro Carbon AC, which is MSI's high-end mini-ITX model, the heat sink design has been changed. Unfortunately there isn't any additional information on this particular board but we'll certainly keep you posted if we come across other bits and pieces.

Looking at the picture, the MSI B360I Gaming Pro Carbon AC is based on an mini-ITX form-factor PCB and there the usual two DIMM slots. Apart from that "Mystic Light" RGB lighting is supported, which allows for changing the illumination of the board from within Windows. Due to the size of the motherboard, there is one full-sized PCIe slot with steel reinforcement and one M.2 slot. The slot appears to be compatible all the different sized drives, supporting the 22110 standard. Furthermore there are four straight SATA-III ports, which have been place close to the DIMM slots.
