Already the predecessor of this updated Void Pro RGB Wireless headset was a nice peripheral to used at work or at home for gaming but it wasn’t perfect and had it’s little problems. There was for instance the microphone on the now older model, which could have been a bit better, but other than that it’s been a pretty solid headset. Therefore we’re rather curious to find out what it is that Corsair actually reworked.
As we already mentioned Corsair equipped the now current version of the Void Pro RGB Wireless with a new and improved microphone. Apart from that the RGB lighting have been changed slightly and they’ve been digging deep in a parts drawer to find even softer memory foam for the ear cushions to make for an even better and more comfortable fit. Other than that there is still microfiber tissue covering the memory foam and the buttons on the left hand side ear cup are still the same as well.
Corsair also didn’t change the signal transmission. For that purpose the the latest Void Pro RGB Wireless comes with a 2.4 GHz WiFi USB dongle. Personally I would love it if all those gaming headsets could be paired with smartphones, thus supporting Bluetooth.
Nevertheless it sounds like the updated version of the Void Pro RGB Wireless is an interesting headset and we’re certainly going to review it at a later stage as well. For now we can tell you that this particular unit costs about $100 US.
