Razer updates its Blade Pro laptop

Featuring a high-end Intel CPU and NVIDIA GPU

Razer has updated premium gaming notebook which goes by the name Blade Pro with a new processor as well as new graphics chips. In order to make the system as fast as possible, Razer packs the Blade Pro with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 pixel accelerator and an Intel Core i7-7820HK processor. Furthermore the new gaming notebook features an UltraHD display, which supports NVIDIA G-Sync.

Featuring an UHD display and an IGZO multi-touch panel, which on top of that even supports NVIDIA G-SYNC makes for a rather interesting combination and allows for smooth gaming, while being operable via touch. Looking into the specifications a little bit deeper we find a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU with 8GB of GDDR5 memory. There is also an unlocked Intel Core i7-7820HK CPU and 32GB of DDR4 memory. The are several options to choose from in the storage department, which range from one 512GB drive to up two 2TB drives in a RAID0 array, offering ridiculous throughputs.

Looking at the exterior there is an aluminum unibody giving this notebook sleek looks and making it 0.88 inches (2.23 centimeters) thin. Furthermore Razer equips the Blade Pro with a low-profile Razer Chroma mechanical keyboard with individually backlit keys. Looking for the connectivity options we can see three USB 3.0 ports, one Thunderbolt USB Type-C port, one HDMI 2.0, a card reader and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Razer Blade Pro is THX certified, in other words both display and the audio jack have been certified by THX, which suggests excellent viewing and listening experience. Razer also claims to have the thinnest laptop with a NVIDIA GTX 1080 graphics card inside although it weighs over 3.4 kilograms.

The Razer Blade Pro will become available next month with a price tag of $3'999.99 US and EUR 4'499.99 in the EU.
