As we all know meanwhile AMD is going to present their upcoming Ryzen processors during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) on February 28. Apart from that the company has now confirmed that they will also be holding an Event on the next-generation Vega GPU architecture.
According to a press release AMD sent out today, the company will hold its 2017 “Capsaicin Live” event. It looks like they will be sharing new information on the Vega, which is going to be AMD’s next GPU architecture.
The upcoming Vega architecture is going to be the new driving force behind AMDs future high-end graphics cards. If we were to believe in rumours that have been floating around for quite a while now, the flagship Vega-based cards should be a little bit quicker than NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1080 but slower than the mighty Titan X Pascal.
During the “Capsaicin and Cream” event AMD will also be showcasing new AAA game titles which are expected to launch during Summer 2017. Those titles should support VR and therefore be rather interesting.
