MSI has unveiled its full lineup of Geforce GTX 1070 graphics cards which is similar to the earlier unveiled GTX 1080 lineup, including a total of four custom GTX 1070 graphics cards.
In addition to the standard reference GTX 1070 Founders Edition, MSI's Geforce GTX 1070 lineup will include the GTX 1070 Gaming X, GTX 1070 Sea Hawk, GTX 1070 Aero and the GTX 1070 Aero OC.
The list starts with the MSI Geforce GTX 1070 Aero and the GTX 1070 Aero OC, both based on Nvidia's reference PCB but coming with a lower price and the same blower style cooler.
The GTX 1070 Aero works at 1506MHz base and 1683MHz GPU Boost clocks, which are pretty much the reference clocks seen on the Geforce GTX 1070 Founders Edition version while the GTX 1070 Aero OC will be factory overclocked to 1531/1721MHz GPU clocks
The 8GB of GDDR5 memory will remain at 8000MHz on both the GTX 1070 Aero and the GTX 1070 Aero OC.
In addition to a lower cost GTX 1070 Aero series, MSI is also working on the Geforce GTX 1070 Gaming X and the Geforce GTX 1070 Seahawk version. Both version will work on the GPU clocks of 1607MHz base and 1797MHz GPU Boost while 8GB of GDDR5 memory will be clocked at 8100MHz.
The MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X will come with dual fan Twin Frozr VI cooler with TorX Fan 2.0 fans, while the GTX 1070 Seahawk uses a Corsair Hydro Series hybrid liquid cooler.
As far as we can gather from information provided by MSI, only the Geforce GTX 1070 Gaming X version will have a custom PCB and draw power from 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe power connectors, while the rest of the lineup will need a single 8-pin PCIe connector.
The MSI GTX 1070 Aero series and the Geforce GTX 1070 Sea Hawk will have white LEDs while the Gaming X version comes with RGB LED lighting.
Unfortunately, MSI did not reveal any information regarding the price or the availability date for these custom graphics cards, while the Founders Edition should be already available.
