Nvidia releases first WHQL GTX 1080 drivers

With new VRWorks updates

Following the scheduled official retail launch of the Geforce GTX 1080 graphics card, Nvidia has now released its first WHQL-certified Geforce driver, the Geforce 368.25, as well as added new VRWorks features.

The new Geforce 368.25 WHQL drivers are practically the same as the earlier released Geforce 368.22 drivers but add Geforce GTX 1080 to the support graphics card list. It also bring a couple of new VRWorks features that can be used with the new GTX 1080.

According to the list, the new VRWorks features include Lens Matched Shading, which should improve pixel shading performance and Single Pass Stereo, which should improve rendering performance and cut the GPU workload in half when rendering in Virtual Reality.

Those that were lucky enough to get their hands on the Geforce GTX 1080 can download the new Geforce 368.25 WHQL drivers over at Nvidia's official drivers support page via link below.
