According to the new report, AMD might be giving up on its California headquarters and moving to a smaller place in Silicon Valley.
AMD has already sold the building at One AMD Place, 1090 E. Duane in California back in 1995 for US $95 million and leased it back but it appears that Irvine Company has set its eyes on the place and wants to turn it to luxury apartments.
The report has been confirmed by multiple sources in real-estate business while AMD is already looking to move to a different and smaller location somewhere in Silicon Valley.
This will mark a 30 to 45 percent reduction in office space which should not prove a problem since the company has already cut over 2000 jobs since 2011.
