As you already know, Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's The Division game has officially launched on March 8th and it appears that it was a huge success for Ubisoft, managing to sell more copies in first 24 hours than any previous Ubisoft game.
While there were some problems with the servers as well as some other minor issues in the game, Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's The Division did quite well.
Although there were no specific numbers revealed, Ubisoft's CEO, Yves Guillemot, said that the launch of The Division was "a tremendous achievement for Ubisoft", showing that the company still has capacity to create fantastic new game brands and launch blockbusters.
He also noted that the launch "marks the start of millions of players' enduring engagement in The Division's game world."
According to first impressions, The Division is certainly an impressive game and
with the recent promise of much more content in the future, it certainly won't be going anywhere.
